I day trade for financial freedom, what are you doing to achieve yours?
I am going to share a little bit about The Day Trading Academy since it has changed so much since the beginning. I have been teaching day traders for the last 8 years of my career (I have been day trading for close to 10 years) and started teaching traders via this site because many people were contacting me for training.
After leaving the previous company where I was a partner of I never planned to start training people because I was having way too much fun day trading & travelling around the world. I was living in Ethiopia at the time when I started receiving serious inquiries about training via popular Congressive Trading System.
When I started to receive serious inquiries about training while I was living in Ethiopia, I let everyone decide how much they wanted to pay on the sole premise that it wasn’t for the money, it was about teaching people how to day trade. I day trade my own account live and started posting my own trades on the site for free to try to guide traders in the right direction. I started to receive serious inquisitions about committing to a monthly coaching program and I wanted to make sure that people were serious.

I asked for a financial commitment by letting everyone decide how much they wanted to pay to make sure that I was training serious people that wanted a new career, not a new hobby. The most important thing in my life is time not money, money can be made and lost but time is something that you cannot get back.
I was living in Eastern Africa at the time and have been traveling around the world for roughly two years. If I was going to cut back on my own live day trading and traveling, I wanted to make sure that I would be training people that really wanted to do this.
I had a very big decision to make….
What this has turned into is a full fledged training program for brand new traders, advanced traders, and traders that are looking for some consistency. I use everyone that is part of program to test out new ideas like one on one Military Training, day trading forums, ideas for new trades, and even the possible trip or two to many exotic locations like Brazil, Colombia, and Chile.
Why Teach When I Can Make a Living Day Trading?
The reason why I agreed to train people was because they were contacting me for help, I didn’t create the Day Trading Academy in order to make it a business and make money off of it. I have a lot of beef with most day trading companies out there because they don’t even day trade their own accounts. I know this for a fact as I have been a part of many companies being in this industry so long.

Being a successful day trader, I feel like I have the responsibility to help others. When I was first being contacted for help it made me really think about the position I was in and how I was living my dreams day trading and traveling around the world (I run a travel blog called WanderingTrader.com). I thought that I could really make a difference, especially considering that I know what it takes and I had a lot of trouble when I first started.
There are many day trading scams out there because most companies that teach don’t day trade their own account, they don’t know what it takes. If you are not able to day trade on your own how could you possibly teach someone else how to do it? It took me a few years to really start making money day trading and I have been through everything a trader could go through.
I even took out $25,000 in student loans when I was working for eight dollars an hour to start this new venture. How well did I do? I lost the $25,000 a month later… click here to read my personal day trading journey.

The Future of The Day Trading Academy
I have a lot of exciting plans for the training program and everyone that is part of it. I have yet to host my first seminar which I plan on having very soon and I also have a crazy idea to start day trading centers in Colombia, Brazil, and India. the idea is to give other people that are less fortunate the opportunity to achieve their own dreams. Just imagine, and many of these countries people only make $500 a month.
I’m currently in Brazil networking and testing of the waters to see what will be possible here. I will also be traveling to India after Brazil in order to find out with the possibilities are of opening up the center in either New Delhi, Mumbai, or even the northern region of Punjab.

The day trading centers also stemmed an idea called of the Learning How To Day Trade Project where I will teach a group of day traders everything I know about the markets that have learned in my near 10 year career. It started with one trader and now it has turned into three. As I am writing this I am waiting for the third trader to arrive in Brazil or I will be personally training him to use my strategy.
