An Update From Rwanda.. Coaching, Curriculum, & More!

day trading in rwanda, day trading office
My day trading office in rwanda

Welcome to Rwanda!!  As you can see I have been upgrading my day trading office as I travel further south.  Its much better than the ping pong table sitting on a freezer in Somaliland (click here to see).  For those of you that follow the site regularly you may have noticed that I haven’t any updates in a while. It’s not that I haven’t been day trading, its that since I posted my Changes Are A’comin post I have received a flood of emails for coaching and training.

Coaching Update

When everyone emailed me in order to see if I was available for coaching I remembered how much pleasure it brought me to really help others.  I decided to stop traveling around the world and just start coaching…. and that was a joke.   The group of guys (and gals) that have reached out to me are as passionate about day trading as I am about day trading and travel and completely understand that I may get kidnapped when I travel to places like Somalia and they are cool with that.

In all seriousness, since I decided to start coaching I  have been a bit backed up since they have priority in terms of getting access to my charts and critiques.  I’ve decided to start posting my charts in what is the beginning of the membership area so they have access to the information immediately once I finish day trading.  When I have time, I will update the site with my charts as I have been doing.

Training Update

What seems to me like an expansion of the LTD Project, I’ve also decided to hand select three individuals to go through the beginning of my training program.  I chose the three people from roughly 20 that have contacted me for training.  They will all be giving me feedback on the process and helping me develop the best learning process for all new day traders that would like to learn how to trade.

To the Future… and BEYOND

I have some pretty exciting ideas that I have discussed with both some senior traders and the new guys as well.  One of them is what I call military training where I will personally go to someone’s house and watch them trade.  I won’t be day trading, the whole premise behind this idea is that you don’t learn when you are watching someone else drive a car.  You actually learn when you are behind the wheel with a man in glasses and clipboard watching your every move.  I plan on skipping the clipboard.

This may or may not be virtual as everything is still in the planning stages.

Curriculum

One of the reasons that I haven’t updated the site is because I have been working feverishly to get a curriculum together for the new trainees and also the charts for the seasoned veteran that I have accepted into what will be the coaching program.  I honestly don’t know if I will accepting any students since I am already overwhelmed and short on time.  The curriculum is roughly 80% done and I’m very excited with some of the ideas that everyone has giving me.

Ciao from Rwanda!
